Popovers

Makes 12.

Preheat oven to 425. Grease popover pans. Place in oven to preheat for two minutes. Whisk together the following ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 T melted butter
  • 1 1/2 C whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 t Kosher salt
    mix in
  • 1 1/2 C flour, sifted

    Mixture will be thin. Fill pans less than 1/2 full.

    Bake 30 minutes without opening oven.

    Puncture with a skewer to release steam.
