Tuna Basil Penne

  • 1 pound penne, cooked to al dente in salted water, drained and cooled
  • 1 can solid tuna in olive oil, chunked
  • 1 cup pitted calamata olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup capers
  • 1 1/2 c cherry tomatoes, washed and quartered
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, julienned
  • 1/2 t red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients except olive oil, toss well. Add olive oil.
Eat! Serves 6 as main dish, more as side. Great for summer barbecues.
