Natalie's Chocolate Cake

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/4 lb butter
    cream together
  • 4 eggs
    add one at a time
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 can Hershey's syrup
  • 1 c sifted self-rising flour
    add>

    Pour into 2 9" round pans. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes.

    Frosting

  • 1 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/4 c cocoa
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 T instant coffee
    Mix. Refrigerate 2 hours. Whip. Spread between layers and on top.
